Zambian rapper Y Celeb, real names Webster Chikalaba was born in 1991 in Kitwe Zambia. Y-Celeb grew up in Chimwemwe suburbs.

Y Celeb together with his childhood friends Supa Mulolo and Ray D together started singing about 5 years ago and later formed a group that they would later name 408 Empire.
 

With YCeleb being the leader artist under 408 Empire, the group finally gained fame with their Chilepule hit song that saw them tour every region in Zambia.

A few later, Y Celeb quit 408 Empire to start a solo career – a thing that helped him gain more popularity in Zambia.

ZambianMusic.net confirms that, YCeleb worked as a bus conductor before starting up his own barber shop on the Copperbelt land.

Apparently, Y Celeb has grown into one of the top trending hard core rappers in Zambia.
