Zambian musician Yo Maps (Yo Maps Yo), real names Elton Mulenga was born on 29th November 1994 in Kasama Zambia.

Speaking to ZambianMusic.net, Yo Maps confirms that, he grew up in Lusaka, before relocating to Kabwe where his family had found peace in the late 90z.

Yo Maps developed interest in music in 2008 while at Chibombo High School. His father Muyunda Mundia, known as Papa Mundia in music circles, inspired him to develop interest in music.

Within Zambia, the artiste who inspires me is Afunika because his music is mature and he is able to educate people,” Yo Maps told ZambianMusic.net

After years of hustling and recording junk music, the Kabwe based artist - Yo Maps finally got a break-through song titled Finally.
