The Umoyo Touch (TUT) is a group of talented students from The University of Zambia (UNZA).
The group was founded last year (2018) notably after the tragic death of their fellow student Shamunjila Vespers and their tribute song to her “We’ll miss you Vespers”.
The group went on to perform on different humanitarian platforms around the city of Lusaka as a result of their song going viral on social media.
After serious consideration of the impact the song had on student mourners and the country at large, the group got indoor sound advice from lecturers and parents to take music seriously and create art that stands for virtue and values in society.
The Band currently has four members namely Katrich, Prayz, Zae and Godwin.
