Tiye-P was born as Jonathan Nyrienda on the 3rd of January 1986. Tiye-P started music during his primary level at regiment basic and was also involved in musical drama. Being involved and participating in musical drama wakened his interest in music.
He started deejaying with deejay 1Spencer form Hone FM. During his grade 9 at Mukandawise Basic School, he got more interested into music and decided that it was something he wanted to pursue a professional career in. DJ 1 Spencer introduced Tiye-P to Raydo and that when he recorded his first song at “Star Makers” now Digital X.
Being busy and focused with school, Tiye-P left little room for music and finished continued to pursue his education.
After finishing his education, he later joined a group called Ghetto Vampires, which also had “Black Voice and Josi” Due to negative circumstances of the environment, Tiye-P terminated the contract and moved on to winning free style battles in Kanyama that led to him recording his first album but which unfortunately did not get released because the producer was fired after he was caught going against the labels rules and also ran away with Tiye-P’s first material.
ZambianMusic.net recalls, Rapper Tiye P later on went to sign with Alpha Entertainments and released songs such as “Doyo”, “Uli nazinga” and working with Y.E.M, KB from K-army and also writing the hit song for Nana ” Booty call” and many more songs.
Tiye P, who also works with Hot FM, has since then established himself as a versatile rapper whose music has acted as a solution to most of his fans in and outside Zambia.
