Zambian musician Cassy Nyemba is a dancehall artist based in German. Cassy Nyemba was born on 16 October 1980 in Ndola, Zambia. She grew up in Luanshya. Cassy Nyemba started singing at the age of 7 way back in the Church choir.

Her inspiration comes from the likes of legendary musicians such as Chaka Demus, Buju Banton, Shaba Ranks, Lady Patra, Beenie Man and Mr Vegas. Cassy Nyemba is currently the only Zambian born artist who has shared many stages with some of Africa’s biggest musicians of this generation.
