Zambian artist Drimz, real names are Lota Mandevu was born on 24th September 1985 in Kabwe, the capital of the Central Province in Zambia. Drimz had his primary education at Muteteshi Basic school from grade one to nine.

Drimz’s schoolmates confirmed to ZambianMusic.net that, Drimz also attended Mkushi and Kalonga High school. In the year 2003, Drimz recorded his first song and n 2005 he enrolled at IMIS where he graduated with a Diploma in Information System. Before he got into serious music, some of his fans (who were his students) confirmed to ZambianMusic.net that Drimz was a teacher at Kabwe College. Drimz, a married man with 2 children is a not only a musician, but also a song writer, audio producer and head artist at his own record label.
