Maggie Shiompa born on 6th September 1992 (24 years old) in Lusaka Zambia. She was raised in the town of Kabwe. She wrote her first song at age 13 in the 7th grade after watching and being inspired by the movie Lizzy Maguire The Movie by Hillary Duff.
Her first recording was in the 9th grade at the age of 15 and the title of the song was unjebe which means tell me but the song did not go anywhere because She was young and even if She had the passion for music she never took it seriously.
As I grew even the passion for music was growing, after finishing my 12th grade in 2012 I relocated to Kitwe to join Afunika's group as a dancer for the main purpose of getting music connections.
Few months later I left Afunika to dance for Mampi, during this period I met and knew important people in the music industry and even featured in some of their songs such as Dandy Krazy's dedication welcome back home and Unique 's knock on my door. I featured in music videos such as Macky2's Feeling Feeling and Vuvuzela One Jay and Kaka man (mumbulu boys).
I later took a break from music to pursue my college education. I pursued assistant nursing at Beit cure hospital and later psychosocial cancelling at the university teaching hospital in Lusaka. After finishing college in 2015 I got back to the music in 2016 and so far I have recorded 3 songs titled Nshakatale chinja ( I will never change), Gijima (Hurry) and Shatta my dreams in that order respectively.
In conclusion, Missy confirmed to ZambianMusic.net that music is her passion and she intends to pursue it to a very high and international level.
