Choma based Super League side Green Eagles extended their stay on top of the Super League table after beating Kabwe Warriors 1-nil at the Railway Stadium to go to 36 points after 18 games. Spencer Sautu scored the only goal of the match which was his second in successive Super League matches.
Napsa Stars bounced back to second position after walloping Mufulira Wanderers 4-0 in a match that saw former Green Eagles striker Tapson Kaseba grab a brace and provide two assists to push the pensioners to 35 points on the table. Zanaco Football Club humiliated defending champions Zesco United by three goals to nil as striker Roger Kola scored twice in the first half after Chitiya Mususu gave the Bankers the lead early on in the match.
